We are seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an onsite school-based role in New Orleans, Louisiana. This contract position, starting ASAP and ending on May 22, 2026, offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday according to the school calendar, providing essential speech-language services to elementary school students.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to school-aged children, primarily in elementary settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support student communication goals
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and maintain accurate documentation
- Ensure all services adhere to school policies and state guidelines to support student success
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Louisiana SLP license or eligibility for state licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric populations in schools, specifically early childhood through grades 6-8, is highly valued
